Celebrating Cleveland’s Latest Bike Lanes

East 72nd Bike Lane (3)_SM

This summer the City of Cleveland made true on their promise to add bike lanes to Detroit Avenue, the latest in their commitment to add 80+ miles of bike lanes by 2017. Being one of the most often bike commuted corridors in the city the new bike lane makes Detroit Avenue a safer street for all users and builds on the city’s plans to become a model sustainable city by the year 2019. This video is our “Thank You” and encouragement to the city to keep the momentum going toward making our streets safer and building Cleveland into a truly bicycle friendly city.

The video was created by GC Creative Studio in a collaboration between Bike Cleveland and GreenCityBlueLake.

We bike couriered copies of the video to the mayors office and other city staff but take a moment and send your own thank you note to the city by emailing the Mayors Action Hotline at mayorsactioncenter@city.cleveland.oh.us or calling at 216-664-3990. Lets keep the momentum going.
