Winter is tough. Lots of time indoors, so much anticipation for better weather. We know. So let’s fix it with some some great monthly reasons to get out of the house, stoke your cycling fire, and speed up the arrival of great riding weather!
January 21st: Bike Cleveland Annual Meeting
Come check out what we have been up to in 2017, and what our plans are for 2018. Local bike shops and organizations will be there showing off the latest cool stuff and projects, and special speakers and displays are planned. Entry is FREE for Bike Cleveland members (with code) and if you’re NOT a member, you can buy a ticket – which magically turns into an annual membership!
February 9th: Winter Social at Village Bicycle
It’s time to get ready for what has become a winter classic! Come partake in some awesome sled riding, enjoy some fatbike frolicking, and stuff your face with hot mac-n-cheese, warm cider and more! It’s a fun open house event with a little bit of everything – including some arts & crafts for the kids! Plus, while you’re there, you can learn about Village Bicycle’s work and how to get involved with both them and Bike Cleveland.
March 2nd: Spring Kick-Off Party at Century Cycles
Longtime member shop Century Cycles in Rocky River has invited us to come hang out at their annual Spring Kick-Off Party! We want our members to come too – and bring some folks that still have yet to join! It’s Century’s way of kicking out the winter doldrums and getting stoked for the spring bicycling season that is so very close! Come socialize with Bike Cleveland members, and take advantage of your member discounts during an after-hours event.
