BIKE_TO_WORKFriday, May 16th is Bike to Work Day.  Greater Clevelanders are encouraged to leave their car at home and commute by bike. There are plenty of activities throughout the day to help you on your commute to work, school or around the city. Bike to Work Day Party (2 locations)
Located at The Bike Rack (E. 4th and High) and at University East Plaza (Euclid and Mayfield) people on bikes will be welcomed from 7am – 9am with free coffee, delicious breakfast (donated from many local foodies), area bike info, and more! Here are some of the specific details for each Bike to Work Day Party:

University East Plaza (corner of Mayfield and Euclid): From 7am-9am, coffee provided by Fuel Coffee Bar and breakfast provided by Murray Hill Market.
Activities include:
-MOCA will distribute $2 off coupons at the Bike to Work Day Party
-Sporks from Case Western Reserve University Office of Sustainability
-Cleveland Montessori offering a $5 discount on registration for D’Light 5K Run/1 Mile Walk
-University Hospitals will be on hand with health and safety information

-Info on upcoming rides in Greater Cleveland

All day University Circle specials for cyclists on Bike to Work Day:
Murray Hill Market $1 off sandwiches all day with your helmet
The Coffee House, 10% discount all day with your helmet
121 Fitness – smoothie discounts, free showers for cyclists.
Mitchell’s Ice Cream (uptown/University Circle location only) - Free scoop of ice cream all day with your helmet.
Barking Spider Tavern – Pitchers of beer discounted until 9pm for cyclists.

Cleveland Bike Rack (2148 E. 4th): From 7am-9am, coffee from Phoenix Coffee and breakfast provided by Fresh Fork Market.
Activities include:
-Bike gear showcased by area bike shops
-Tours of the Bike Rack
-Info on upcoming rides in Greater Cleveland
-RTA Ride Together Bus and practice putting your bike on the bus-bike rack
-Ohio City Bicycle Co-op will be there to do bike safety checks.

Energizer Stations (4 locations)
Energizer stations are stops for bike commuters to grab a free cup of coffee providing them a boost of energy as they make their way to one of the Bike to Work Day Parties and then on to work.

Ride RTA for Free:

Need a little help biking to or from work? RTA will be providing free rides all day on Friday, May 16th to people with bikes who may need a little help getting to or from work.

Bike After Work Party: Forest City Portage Pop-up Shop @ BUCKBUCK Gallery (3900 Lorain Ave), 6pm-9pm

To wrap up  Bike to Work Day, Bike Cleveland will host a Bike After Work Party at BUCKBUCK Gallery to kickoff the FOREST CITY PORTAGE POP-UP at BUCKBUCK Friday, May 16th @ 6pm.
