Ride to Provide w/ Bike Cleveland and the Hunger Network

The cycling community is an unbelievably caring group, which becomes apparent each year when we cycle and food-raise for local hunger centers as part of Cranksgiving. For example, last year we raised over $3,000 in food and personal hygiene items for Parma Hunger Center.

Now – more than ever –  our local hunger centers need your support. That is why from June 15th-30th,  Bike Cleveland is helping support local food pantries in partnership with the Hunger Network.

Here is how you can make a difference in someone’s life – today!

We encourage you to stop by a grocery store, pharmacy, or dollar store and purchase some of the personal hygiene items below and drop them off at the local hunger centers highlighted in the map above. You can do this as part of your daily commute or ride, or make it a special point to put together a route in order to help accomplish this mission. Please note the hours that locations are accepting deliveries when planning your trip and drop off. These are noted in the list below.

Shine a light on your generosity! Take a selfie of your delivery or shopping and tag Bike Cleveland (@BikeCleveland on Facebook or @Bike_CLE on Twitter & Instagram) and the Hunger Network (@TheHungerNetwork on Facebook or @Hunger_Network on Twitter). Use the hashtag #RidetoProvide.

Please remember to use safe physical distancing principles, and wear a mask when you are near others.
