Join a Committee or Apply To Be On Our Board

As a membership-based advocacy organization, Bike Cleveland depends on the guidance of committed volunteers who will take leadership positions on our Board of Directors and Committees. As a Board Member or Committee Member, you will ensure that Bike Cleveland remains true to our mission of “creating a region that is sustainable, connected, healthy, and vibrant by promoting bicycling and advocating for safe and equitable transportation for all.

We ask you to make a difference in our community by giving us a bit of your time, talent, and perspective by joining one of our committees or applying to serve on our Board of Directors.

We especially seek applicants from communities and populations who have traditionally not been represented in leadership positions in the cycling community, including but not limited to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), transgender people, women, people with low income, people with disabilities, and residents of our identified areas of concern.

Join Bike Cleveland’s Board of Directors

We are currently taking applications to serve on our board of directors. The Bike Cleveland board provides oversight, strategy and accountability of our organization. The board of directors meets six times per year and members serve a minimum two year term. Join a Bike Cleveland Committee

We are also looking for volunteers to serve on Bike Cleveland’s committees. Our three volunteer committees include:

Advocacy and Education Committee – Reviews and plans advocacy campaigns and education programs.
Fund Development Committee – Organizes and plans fundraising activities to help provide sustainable funding to grow our programs.
Finance Committee – Reviews Bike Cleveland financials and annual budget to ensure we are transparent and accountable with our resources.
