TAKE ACTION for a future West Side Lakefront Greenway

Bike Lakewood has developed a plan to connect Edgewater Park to Huntington Reservation. The West Side Greenway will create a stress-free connection along the lakefront and to Rocky River Reservation.

The connection was identified in the Cuyahoga Greenways plan.

We need your help to show support for this crucial west side connection. Here is how you can help:

  1. Attend an upcoming public meeting in Lakewood: The City of Lakewood is holding a community meeting  to discuss the operation of Lake Avenue after repaving is completed in 2019. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Main Library (15425 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107), Multi-Purpose Room. We need folks in attendance to ask about building a protected bike lane along this section of Lake Avenue as part of the West Side Greenway.
  2. Sign our petition below in support of the West Side Greenway.

I want a West Side Lakefront Greenway

I support a safe and easy bike path connection between Edgewater Park and Huntington Reservation! The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission has identified Lake Ave as an important regional route to accommodate a broad range of potential users in their Cuyahoga Greenways Plan. I encourage Cuyahoga County, the City of Lakewood, City of Rocky River, and the City of Bay Village to work together to make the West Side/Lakefront Greenway a reality along Lake Avenue.
