Details for 2018 Strategic Summit Attendees

Let me start first by saying “thank you.” Thank you for committing your Sunday afternoon to help shape the work of Bike Cleveland.

This email contains important details for our Strategic Planning Summit this Sunday, please take a moment to read it all so you will be prepared for a fun and productive afternoon.

Some Background

Bike Cleveland’s Strategic Planning Summit is the culmination of 9 months of planning by Bike Cleveland staff, board and volunteers (we call them the Design Team). The goal is to create a collaborative, concrete, and measurable action plan to guide Bike Cleveland’s work for safe streets for the coming years.

This planning included plenty of data gathering through focus groups, interviews, plus a survey and community engagement at events. You can read the data analysis from all the data gathered here.

Through the data gathering, and a series of facilitated meetings, the Design Team developed a draft strategy for Bike Cleveland that we will present at The Summit for feedback. After that we will all work together to develop a measurable action plan that will guide Bike Cleveland’s work for the next 5 years. You can see the draft strategy in advance here.
