Human Awareness Month – Youth Opportunities – Turning Your Passion Into Action
April Focus: Human Awareness Month
As the weather begins to shift and Northeast Ohio comes back to life, more people are walking, biking, and rolling throughout our communities.
April serves as an important reminder:

People are outside more. Awareness matters. Safety matters.

No matter how we choose to move, whether driving, biking, or walking, we all share a responsibility in creating safer, more mindful streets.  This is the foundation of the work we do every day through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
Spring into Riding: Youth Learn to Ride Now Open!
We’re excited to kick off the season with Youth Learn to Ride sessions, now open for registration.
These sessions are designed to help youth build confidence, learn foundational skills, and experience the joy of riding in a supportive environment.
Programs will be hosted in partnership with Ohio City Bicycle Co-op serving youth 5-12 years old.
Instruction will be led by League Cycling Instructor Erik Anderson, Executive Director of OCBC and staff.
