Ride for Sylvia
Join family and friends of Sylvia Bingham for a memorial bike ride to promote safe streets. Sylvia Bingham was tragically killed while riding her bicycle to work on September 15th 2009.
Cyclists will gather at 8:30am on Saturday, September 16th at the corner of W. 11th and Fairfield (at the Bike Box) in Tremont, near where Sylvia lived. The ride will roll out at 9am towards E. 21st and Prospect, where those on the ride will gather briefly for a remembrance and placing of flowers. Following the placing of flowers and remarks we will ride back to the starting location as a group. Total distance will be about 5 miles.
