2025 Annual Meeting Recap!

We recently gathered at historic Sokol Greater Cleveland on a cold January night for our annual gathering of members, partner organizations, and bike shops. Our Annual Meeting and Member Social is a chance for members – both longtime and new – to learn about the past years’ accomplishments and what’s ahead for 2025 and beyond.
The event has sold out the past several years as our membership as grown. We hold attendance to about 225 of our growing membership of 1800+ to enjoy an evening of great food from Ohio City Burrito and drinks from Great Lakes Brewing. We give everyone about an hour to chat up other attendees and organizations, and fill their bellies before settling down for a hour-long presentation from Bike Cleveland’s staff and Board President. You can check out the slideshow below for a feel of the evening.
The presentation featured below can serve as a quick overview of what you may have missed, and also features our Guardian of Sustainable Transportation Awards presented to Ben Van Lear, Mitch Zimmer, Merle Gordon, and the team from Bike Your Neighborhood for their contributions to making Cleveland a better place for people on bicycles by committing their time. The last photo shows the winner of our coveted raffle prize – a Scott Speedster provided by Knabe Law Firm with support from Gear Up Velo. We thank Ken Knabe for his unwavering support of our initiatives and events.
If you missed this event, we encourage you to become a member and support or work for safe streets. We’ll be back next January – but you will have dozens of opportunities to get involved locally between now and then. If you would like to learn more about our work, check out some of our history here, and you can always reach out to our staff if you have any questions.
