April Action Alerts!

Here are THREE ways to get involved right now in April and make your voice heard!

1. Contact your senators and ask them to co-sponsor S.1098 for better bicycling!

The Transportation Alternatives program represents nearly 50% of all the federal funding that goes to bicycling and walking networks and trails, so small changes can have a big impact on how we see Cleveland change for the better.

The bill we are asking you to support would not only increase overall TA funds, it would make a few technical changes to how TA funding is divided up so that it is more equitable across the country. Take a moment and ask your senators to support S.1098! The button below makes it simple to do based on your address.

2. Get involved with the Shaker Square redesign!

Public meetings are being held on Wednesday, April 24, and Thursday, April 25 that will allow you to share your thoughts on the bike friendly future of historic Shaker Square.

April 24: 6-8pm, Our Lady of Peace Church
12601 Shaker Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44120

April 25: 8-10am, Fairhill Center
12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, OH 44120

If you cannot make the public meetings, you can also take the online survey instead.

3. Head to the next re-inCarnegie Spring Open House!

Show support for robust bike network connections on Carnegie. You can visit any time during the Open House for the most recent project updates, feedback stations, and light refreshments. There will be a protected Cycle Track on Lorain Avenue soon, and we already have separated facilities across the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge. Show your support for continuing the network east!

April 30: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
3328 Carnegie Avenue
Cleveland, OH 44115
