Broadway Bridge Reconstruction – Bike Lanes?

 

The Broadway Slavic Village community has been working on the Downtown Bike Connector Trail (DBCT), and with the reconstruction of the Broadway Bridge over I-77 we have the opportunity to make not only the Bridge accommodate bicycles,  but also complete the DBCT all the way to Broadway Avenue.

The meeting will consists of presenting the Ohio Department of Transportation’s concepts for construction of a new Broadway Bridge over I-77.  The design team would appreciate your input at the upcoming stakeholder meeting.  At this meeting, we will review the project purpose and goals, the project elements (including traffic patterns during construction and aesthetics), and the environmental commitments. The project is currently scheduled to be under construction in 2016, but the planning and design is underway today!
