Car-Free Wednesday on Public Square
The Week Without Driving challenges participants to rely on public transportation, walking, biking, or other modes of transportation for one week, providing valuable insights into the accessibility and inclusivity of our transportation systems. By walking or rolling in the shoes of non-drivers, you will gain a firsthand perspective crucial for making informed decisions that affect mobility and access in Cleveland.
On Wednesday, October 2nd we will celebrate being car-free by providing coffee and snacks for commuters without cars on Public Square! We – along with Clevelanders for Public Transit, LEAP Cleveland & Downtown Cleveland – will be in the heart of the city from 7:30 to 9:00am spreading the joy.
When: Wednesday, October 2nd – 2024
Where: Cleveland Public Square
Why: Celebrating car-free mobility during a Week Without Driving
