Glenville Bike Fix-a-Thon

Join Bike Cleveland, Famicos Foundation, University Circle Inc., Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, and Joy Machines Bike Shop for a FREE adult bicycle Fix-a-thon in the Glenville/University Circle neighborhood. Mechanics will be on hand to help cyclists with minor repairs that will ensure bikes are in safe, working condition and are ready to ride. University Circle Police bicycle patrol officers will be on hand to inform cyclists about safe/legal riding and about securing bicycles while parked. The first 25 people will receive a light set to help improve cycling safety after dark. There will also be information about how to get plugged into improving the places you ride. This event is geared towards cyclists 16 years of age and older.

If you are interested in helping out with the fix-a-thon you can sign-up through the Ohio City Bicycle C0-op’s volunteer registration. All volunteers can attend OCBC’s Bike Basics classes if they want to learn some of the skills they will need to help with repairs. The classes take place on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. See the class calendar here. We are looking for volunteers to help install bike lights, perform minor bike repairs, pump up tires, and sign people in.
