Volunteer: NOACA Bike and Ped Counts

Bike Count

NOACA (Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency) is seeking volunteers to assist with their biannual Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Program this September. Your help is vital in collecting data that supports the planning and development of safe and accessible transportation infrastructure across Northeast Ohio.

Why Volunteer?

By participating, you’ll be contributing to:

  • Assessing Regional Activity: The count provides valuable data on local biking and walking patterns, supplementing Census data.
  • Informing Infrastructure Planning: Your contributions will help identify trends that guide the design and implementation of multimodal transportation systems, as well as educational, encouragement, and enforcement programs.
  • Prioritizing Projects: The data collected will assist in prioritizing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and planning initiatives.
