Celebrate Trails Day | Cleveland

Celebrate Trails 2024

Weather: We are blessed with a warm April day! Just bring a light rain jacket just in case of a little pop-up shower.

Come Celebrate Trails in Cleveland on April 27th with this opportunity to go for a casual bicycle ride with multiple local mayors, Cuyahoga County Senior Advisor on Transportation Annie Pease, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Planning and Designer Officer Sean E. McDermott, and more!

This special ride will begin and end at Garfield Park Reservation, with a route that highlights established and upcoming trail projects and roadway enhancements. This ride is an outstanding chance to experience both finished local projects and learn about what is underway with the local leaders and advocates that will help bring them to life.

Riders can expect to use both trails and roads during the 10 mile route, but they will be in good hands with assistance from Bike Cleveland and squad support from Slow Roll Cleveland.

Hosted on the fourth Saturday of April, Celebrate Trails Day is an annual spring celebration of America’s trails. Started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013, the celebration encourages people all across the country to get outside and enjoy the nation’s exceptional trails and trail systems.

Helmets are strongly encouraged, and all participants are required to bring a working bicycle.

Cleveland’s Celebrate Trails Day event is a collaboration between the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Metroparks, Slow Roll Cleveland and Bike Cleveland.

Waiver: Fill out your event waiver online and skip the line on event day! All waivers (online and in-person) will be entered in for a great prize drawing of Hydroflasks – we’ll pull winners and make contact after event day.
