Ride for Sylvia – 2019
Join Francoise Blusseau and Stephen Bingham, the parents of Sylvia Bingham who was killed riding her bicycle to work on September 15th 2009, for a ride to promote safe streets for people riding bikes. Sylvia’s family and friends will gather at 10:30am on Sunday, September 15th at the corner of W. 11th and Fairfield in Tremont, near where she lived.
The ride will roll out at 11am towards E. 21st and Prospect, where those on the ride will gather briefly for remembrance and placing of flowers.
Following the placing of flowers the ride will head to Lincoln Park, corner of W 11th and Kenilworth, for a bring-your-own picnic, some socializing and some informal bike safety education led by the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, depending on the weather.
