Celebrate Trails Day | Cleveland

Celebrate Trails 2025 1200x630

Weather: A little chilly today, but we’re a GO! Don’t forget to stop by and learn about upcoming projects afterwards at the Flat Iron Cafe, and we’ll have snacks (while supplies last) at Sokolowski’s Overlook for those taking the shorter out & back option.

Come Celebrate Trails in Cleveland on April 26th with this opportunity to go for a casual bicycle ride or walk with Bike Cleveland, Canalway Partners, City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metroparks, Cuyahoga County, and Slow Roll Cleveland! This event is an outstanding chance to experience both finished projects and learn about what is underway with the local leaders and advocates that will help bring them to life.

This special event will begin and end at Canal Basin Park, with two different route options:

  • Option 1 | An 8 mile bicycle loop with squad support by Slow Roll Cleveland. Route uses both trails and lower traffic roads.
  • Option 2 | A kid-friendly out & back route perfect for a walk or for riders looking for a trail only route up to 3 miles. Shorten as needed!

After your ride or walk, join us in the upper level of the Flat Iron Cafe for displays and information about upcoming trail projects in the region. After party sponsored by OHM Advisors.

Hosted on the fourth Saturday of April, Celebrate Trails Day is an annual spring celebration of America’s trails. Started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013, the celebration encourages people all across the country to get outside and enjoy the nation’s exceptional trails and trail systems.

Cleveland’s Celebrate Trails Day event is a collaboration between Bike Cleveland, Canalway Partners, City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metroparks, Cuyahoga County, and Slow Roll Cleveland.
