Virtual Ride Of Silence – CLE

We had planned to have our annual Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 20th along with other cities worldwide. Permitting steps had been taken, and the Cleveland Police Bicycle Division had agreed to lead the procession as they have done so (and so well) for the past few years. It is our way to organize local cyclists to join others across the globe in a silent slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while riding a bicycle on our public roadways.

However, due to COVID-19 conditions, this mass gathering will not happen this year, but the theme remains as important as ever. Join us in a Virtual Ride of Silence in honor of those who have been injured or killed while riding a bicycle by doing your own solo Ride of Silence.

On Wednesday, May 20th – please take a silent ride to honor and in remembrance. Any time, any distance is fine. Afterward, you can share your story with us and the rest of your Greater Cleveland bicycle family. If you have a story that you would like to share, you can share it on the Facebook Event, or tag us on Twitter @Bike_CLE or Instagram @bike_cle. Use #ROSCLE and #RideofSilence2020 so everyone can easily find your submissions.
