Winning Campaigns Advocacy Training

Winning Campaigns Training, the only professional campaign training for mobility advocates, is coming to Cleveland!

This training is designed for anyone who wants to make their community a better place to bike and walk. This action-oriented workshop gives novice and veteran advocates the tools to create and manage powerful campaigns to increase biking and walking in their communities. The proven curriculum is led by longtime advocates and national experts with first-hand experience conducting — and winning — bicycle and pedestrian campaigns. During each three-day training, you will learn how to:

  • Pick the right, winnable campaign for your community
  • Identify how you can influence key decision-makers
  • Craft a persuasive message to rally members and policymakers
  • Use media outlets to communicate to a broad audience
  • Become an effective fundraiser
  • Create a detailed Campaign Blueprint that ensures your success and builds toward even greater victories!

The Winning Campaigns Training is more than a class. It’s a fun, interactive experience that fosters collaboration among neighbors & advocates and results in a road map with next steps and strategies specific to your Winning Campaign

We want to help you make your vision for a safer, more bike & pedestrian-friendly neighborhood a reality. Rally your neighbors and register today for the Winning Campaigns Training!

Note: This training is most effective for teams with common goals – not individuals. Each team member should register separately but note which group/neighborhood you are a part of. If you are an individual who wants to take advantage of this training, we will help pair you with a group! We ask that teams send a maximum of 5 representatives due to limited space capacity.

The training will take place at the Midtown Tech Hive the weekend of January 13th-14th the following times. Training participants are required to attend all weekend.

Friday, Jan 13th | 6pm – 9pm

Saturday, Jan 14th | 8:30am – 5pm

Sunday, Jan 15th | 9am – 1pm.

If you have any questions about the training contact Jenna at Jenna@bikecleveland.org. For more details and to register visit EventBrite.com.
