World Day of Remembrance 2021
On Sunday, Nov. 21st, we join families of traffic crash victims, street safety advocates, and city leaders from across the world to commemorate World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year. It is a global event to remember the many millions who have been killed and seriously injured on the world’s roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families and communities – millions added each year to countless millions already suffering: a truly tremendous cumulative toll.
For Cleveland’s World Day of Remembrance commemoration we join community members, elected officials, and street safety advocates in the video below to remember, support and act to amplify the heartbreaking cost of traffic crashes and the urgent need for change.
A commemoration video will premiere on Sunday, November 21st at 11am.
Together, we REMEMBER, SUPPORT, and ACT. Together we demand action to address the heartbreaking cost of traffic crashes and the urgent need for change on our streets. #SpeedKills #WDoR2021.
