2012 Cleveland Bike Challenge

Start your pedals, Cleveland- The 2012 Cleveland Bike Challenge is on! The goal: log 100,000 miles this summer on our bikes.

The Challenge is simple: Sign up as an individual or as a team, log your miles, share your stories and encourage others to join you. Teams and individuals compete against others locally and nationally. Top riders will may win prizes and awards on the local and national level, including a Grand Prize trip through California wine country from Trek Travel.

The challenge starts May 1 and continues through August, but many people have already signed up and started warming up on the Challenge website: nationalbikechallenge.org.

Launched at the 2012 National Bike Summit by a powerful alliance of the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the League of American Bicyclists, Bikes Belong and Endomondo, the 2012 Cleveland Bike Challenge is part of the National Bike Challenge which aims to inspire and empower millions of Americans to ride their bikes for transportation, recreation and better health.
