2024 Annual Meeting Recap

Another sold out edition of our Annual Meeting is in the books! We’re very pleased that this event continues to engage our current members and encourages lots of new faces to join the movement for safe streets in Cleveland. We filled Sokol Greater Cleveland in Slavic Village full of bike advocates, supporting organizations, and local businesses all looking to get caught up on the past year – and to take a look forward to the one to come.

As always, we have to thank our event sponsors that help us bring this event to life. Ohio Desk continued their support as our presenting business, Knabe Law Firm provided our Grand Prize raffle item, and Great Lakes Brewing graciously supplied fine local brews for our bar service. This support allows us to keep this event free to our members, and provide high-quality food and a great time for all. We also thank our local bike shops and organizations for rounding out an amazing list of raffle prizes.

We ran a hour-long presentation featuring all of our staff members, and if you are curious about the content – you can click through the slideshow below. As always, if you have any questions about our programs or events, you can reach our staff and we would be happy to follow up with you.

2024 Annual Meeting Presentation by Bike Cleveland

During the presentation, we took time to recognize individuals that went above and beyond in the past year. They each take home a custom Guardian of Sustainable Transportation award to proudly display for their time and effort. This year we recognized:

Connor Brentar | Danielle Gibson | Nate Lull

Jerrell Johnson | Julia Mettler-Grove | Matt Whisenhunt

We closed out the night with the Grand Prize drawing featuring a bike from Gear Up Velo provided by Knabe Law Firm. New bike day is always a great day! We encourage you to join the movement for safe streets in Cleveland, and we look forward to seeing you on 2 wheels in 2024.
