Glenville Bike Fix-a-thon

Join Bike Cleveland, Famicos Foundation, University Circle Inc., Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, and Joy Machines Bike Shop for a FREE bicycle Fix-a-thon in the Glenville/University Circle neighborhood. Mechanics will be on hand to help cyclists with minor repairs that will ensure bikes are in safe, working condition and are ready to ride.  The first 25 people will receive a light set to help improve cycling safety after dark. There will also be information about how to get plugged into improving the places you ride.

WHERE: VA Medical Center Parking Garage – 10701 East Boulevard (West of E. 105, south of Wade Park)
WHEN: June 15th, 9 AM – 12 PM

We are looking for volunteers to help install bike lights, perform minor bike repairs, pump up tires, pass out food, and sign people in.Volunteers will need to arrive at the VA Medical Center Parking Garage (West of E. 105, south of Wade Park) by 8:30am. We will be done, including clean-up by 12:30pm.

All volunteers can attend OCBC’s Fix-a-Flat Class if they want to learn some of the skills they will need to help with bike repairs. The class will take place on Tuesday, June 11th at 5:45pm at OCBC (1840 Columbus Rd), no need to register just drop in.
