Rider Alert: Towpath Closure

Heads up for riders who plan to use the Towpath near the Station Road Bridge Trailhead – there will be a Towpath closure on weekdays from December 18 through May 3. Good news is the Towpath will remain open on the weekends while this stabilization project takes place.

The Cuyahoga Valley National Park notes that no detour is available during this period. If absolutely necessary, one could route around this using local roads to the east or west, but it would only be reasonable if necessary to continue a longer distance journey such as the Ohio to Erie Trail route and the like – which is not common during these months.
