Seeking Board and Committee Members

As a membership-based advocacy organization, Bike Cleveland depends on the guidance of committed volunteers who will take leadership positions on our Board of Directors and on our Committees. As a Board Member or Committee Member, you will ensure that Bike Cleveland remains true to our mission of “creating a region that is sustainable, connected, healthy, and vibrant by promoting bicycling and advocating for safe and equitable transportation for all.”

We ask you to make a difference in our community by giving us a bit of your time, talent, and perspective by joining one of our committees or applying to serve on our Board of Directors.

Join Bike Cleveland’s Board of Directors

We are currently taking applications to serve on our board of directors. The Bike Cleveland board provides oversight, strategy and accountability of our organization. The board of directors meets six times per year and members serve a minimum two year term. If you are interested in serving on Bike Cleveland’s board fill out this online application, or download and fill out our application and email it to Jacob@bikecleveland.org.

Join a Bike Cleveland Committee

We are also looking for volunteers to serve on Bike Cleveland’s committees. Committees generally meet monthly and are a great way to help guide our work for safe streets. Our four volunteer committees include:

Advocacy and Education Committee – Reviews and plans advocacy campaigns and education programs.
Fund Development Committee – Organizes and plans fundraising activities to help provide sustainable funding to grow our programs.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Reviews and helps develop programs that support equity, diversity, and inclusion within our work and organization.
Finance Committee – Reviews Bike Cleveland financials and annual budget to ensure we are transparent and accountable with our resources.

If you’re interested in joining a Bike Cleveland committee or have questions about joining the board you can email Jacob at Jacob@bikecleveland.org.
