EXPLORE YOUR WARD 2019 with Bike Euclid!
Explore Your Ward!
Bike Euclid will act as your guide for these fun community bike rides, open to all! Each ride highlights a specific ward within the City of Euclid, and is sponsored by that Euclid Ward Councilperson.
Learn safe bicycling techniques from League of American Bicyclist Certified Instructors. Learn how to do a quick safety check of your own bicycle. Learn the rules of the road, proper signaling, and how to ride with a group.
See how our public right of ways can become safer for all, with a tour of potential infrastructure improvements, as recommended in the new, unanimously adopted, Euclid Master Plan, including protected bike ways, trails and complete and green streets.
Dress for the weather, bring your bike (in good working order) and wear a helmet. Enjoy a brief safety presentation followed by a short leisurely pedal through the local neighborhood. All participants must sign a waiver. All minors must be accompanied by an adult participant.
All participants will receive a copy of the booklet Biking in Cleveland – A Guide, as well as a Bike Euclid button. Riders of all levels are welcome! More experienced riders are invited to help, contact us at BikeEuclid@gmail.com with “Volunteer for Explore Your Ward” in the subject line.
June 15 – Christine McIntosh Ward 5 – 10am Meet at Sims Park on Lakeshore Blvd.
