Bikes n Brew

bikes n brewEvent Details

To celebrate bicycles and the art of craft beer, Bikes N’Brew features up to five of our fantastic local breweries which you will visit via an unsupported bicycle tour through Cleveland and its surrounding suburbs – Just in time for Cleveland Beer Week! There will be 20 mile & 40 mile suggested route options with cue sheets & maps provided.
Limited to the 21 and over crowd and 100 participants, advance tickets are $25 (day of – $35 if available) which includes a tour of  Brick and Barrel Brewery, up to five samples from various breweries, and a BBQ (after-party). VIP tickets also includes participation in the 40 mile keg pull relay & earn you a growler to take home. Net proceeds will benefit Bike Cleveland and theCuyahoga Valley Cycling and Craft Beer Club.

Want to kick it up a notch and help fund some great folks? Then sign up to be a part of the VIP Keg Relay! This year a total of 4 keg relays will happen…one reserved just for the ladies – Don’t worry, you only have to pull the 200lbs of hop-tasticness for 6-10 miles in a leg! And don’t worry, you are on your own bike! Just make sure it can accommodate a standard (yet beefed up) bike trailer.

The first leg will start at Brick and Barrel. All VIPs will ride together in their groups (along with their groupies) along the route and pass the keg off to the next in line at each location. However long you decide to stay at each location or how fast you ride the route is up to you – just remember, we need that keg delivered back to Brick and Barrel by 5pm!

It may be $75 but did we mention that VIP Keg Relay folks get bragging rights & a special howler of goodness at the end for their efforts? Besides, it’s a fundraiser!
