During the project design phase we engaged with residents and raised concerns about the lack of a safe, protected bicycle facility in the project. The city has heard public support in favor of protected bike lanes on this project, and we have gathered and submitted almost 200 signatures in support.

In response to that support for a protected bike lane on North and South Moreland the city has said:

“The City is continuing to investigate the feasibility of center-aligned, physically separated bike lanes. We will be back in touch with Council representatives, Bike Cleveland, and community members to share findings and discuss the road striping plan in the coming weeks.”

Stay tuned for details on the meeting to discuss the bicycle facility on North and South Moreland.
